Tour Overview:
The SWGT Satellite Tour is a competitive nine hole golf experience combined with an educational component. Before play, each event will focus on specific topics that will be introduced during the Educational Session. These lessons will emphasize the rules of play, pace of play, scorekeeping, and etiquette.

Further clarification of these topics will occur during competitive play and be implemented by the SWGT educational staff.

Each group will be assigned a volunteer scorekeeper from the parental group. Additionally, volunteer spotters also from the parental pool, will be asked to forcaddie on potentially problematic holes.

The SWGT staff will be on-course, not only to reinforce the weekly topics, but to assist with rules and pace of play concerns.

Each week medallions for 1st and 2nd place in each division will be presented. A "skill shot" prize will also be awarded in each division. Player of the Year points will be awarded per the SWGT event point system. Player of the Year winners will be recognized at the Founders Cup Awards banquet.

Player Profile:
This tour is a program for young junior golfers who have demonstrated the ability to play golf at a higher level. These individuals should have played a significant number of golf rounds. Boys must be able to record a score from the red tees of 60 or lower. Girls must be able to record a score of 65 or lower. These juniors must be physically able to carry or push/pull a cart while playing nine holes. THIS TOUR IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS! There is no swing instruction.

Tour Expectations:
The SWGT expects these juniors to be polite and understand proper manners. The SWGT expects all players to dress for success. Golf attire is required and golf shirts must be tucked inside the shorts. Golf shorts with belts, hats, and soft spiked golf shoes are strongly recommended. All players must be ready for play with their own age appropriate set and have an adequate supply of balls, tees, and divot tools.

Parental Responsibilities:
It is required that parents volunteer as scorekeepers and or spotters. The success of this program is dependent on parental cooperation with these duties. Most importantly, there can be no verbal contact with the players once competition begins. Spectators are welcome only after all volunteer duties have been fulfilled.

Cost:
$275  This fee includes registration and entry fees for 8 events. The Founders Cup Championship requires its own seperate entry and fee. We will follow the inclement weather policy outlined within this website. Should an event be cancelled due to extreme weather, all players will receive a 9-hole voucher for use at the site of the cancelled event. We can only register 30 participants.
