MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Southwest Junior Golf Tour is to provide junior golfers the opportunity to compete in weekly golf tournaments against the best junior players in Northern Ohio. This tour is for boys and girls, ages 10-18, especially appealing to those who compete on their high school team or for those who intend to pursue a playing career in college.

The SWGT plays quality courses, awards individual medallions at each event and awesome crystal trophies at the Founders Cup Championship. Most importantly, the SWGT provides for college scholarship opportunity.

 Dear Juniors and Parents,

Welcome to the Southwest Junior Golf Tour! This is a very special season. We, as a tour, are celebrating 15 years! In those years, we have touched over 3000 junior golfers and families. We plan to celebrate this anniversary with special contests and giveaways at each tournament site. Hopefully, you will join us this year and help us celebrate the magic of junior golf.

Our mission is simple; it is our goal to provide junior golfers an opportunity to compete in weekly tournaments against the very best junior golfers in Northern Ohio. The Southwest Junior Golf Tour was created in 1994 to involve junior golfers in well run, highly competitive golf events within the southwestern region of the Cleveland area. As always, we will strive to improve the SWGT in an attempt to maintain an organization that is conscious of juniors, as golfers and as student athletes.

The SWGT plays quality golf courses, awards each Player of the Year a crystal trophy, and provides an opportunity for a college scholarship award. In fact, in 2007, in partnership with Medicus Golf, we awarded a scholarship in the amount of $500. So come join us and showcase your talent. Play the tour that allows you to mature as a player and as an individual.

If you have further questions, please feel free to call Derek Smith at (440) 346-6750 or Dave Moskal at (440) 346-6751. We look forward to your participation. Keep practicing, and as always, as out motto states Keep Looking Ahead!

Sincerely,
Dave Moskal, PGA Professional
